The next evening of our stay lead us to our visit of the “Ateliers des Souliers Louis Vuitton” at Fiesso d’Artico about 30 km from Venice. Turns out I would not mind living in Fiesso in between the truckloads of fairly Louis Vuitton shoes at a building that was created as a shoebox, where women are elevated to master the craft of creating the prettiest shoes. Fiesso d’Artico homes 4 distinct ateliers named after iconic LV bags and my favorite one was obviously Alma, where runway and cruise collection shoes made by Nicolas Ghesquière come to life. There’s in between 150 to 250 different maneuvers prior to a shoe is ready to depart the ateliers and each and every motion is done by hand, which of course explains the price of a Louis Vuitton pump, bootie or level. It is so fascinating to view all the different measures; from the design to the study of such example the durability of a high-heeled shoe, the different substances that go into a single creation and the precision that is put into each and every stage of producing a shoe is overwhelming and warrants each and every bit of respect.Needless to say that I felt like running off with exemplar A, B and C of Ghesquiere’s fall/winter collection for Louis Vuitton as all these tempting pieces of shoe artwork were being manufactured the moment I seen Fiesso. This included a significant choice of pointy Chelsea style booties and studded kitten heels. But the flower embroidered round tip sandals of this pre-fall collection have me captivated and I am strongly considering to start saving up some cash to bring these to my collection of sneakers.
Flats are notable the most important shoes ever invented, they are instant, easy, quick and for the most part; extremely comfy. If you are like and wants to stay chic at work, wear a pair of elegant ballerinas to stand-out. Introducing the latest Bottega Veneta flats from the intrecciolusion collection.
The diamond patterns certainly represents the tradition of the brand, but the quality and the stretch-ability are the elements that should grasp your attention. You see, the flawless materials like satin and nappa has made it possible for the shoe to automatically adjust to your comfort. Stretch-able flats are very flexible as they are excellent for traveling like car city-tours. Whenever you feel to, you can pack these shoes back into the matching-satin carrying pouch that comes along and hide it inside your bag. You can’t get versatile than that.
I love the petale pink, the color is cute and can easily match to bright colors. However, they are also available in quetsche purple. Usually designer brands has their signature or logo embellished on the toe of the shoes, but for stretch-able flats like these, that’s not quite possible. Creatively, Bottega Veneta embossed on the heel the iconic butterfly, adorable! There is just one word that I would like to share: ‘these flats are made for the true lady look’.
You can find them on Bottega Veneta e-store or offline-store for $450 USD or €320 EUR.
